Our law firm, located in the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal, was established in 1968 in the City of Colon. In this area you can find the largest port facilities of the country and the Colon Free Zone. Also operating in this area is the Special Economic System of the Colon Free Zone, wherein purchase of allowed goods are exempted from entry and sales taxes.

These activities have contributed to the development of an Industrial Property Department in our firm, offering our services in the registration and protection of patents, industrial designs, trademarks, copyrights and border security measures applied by the Customs Department.
In order to facilitate compliance with the new legislation on money laundering, we have established a new Compliance Department offering counseling services to companies for the implementation of prevention plans for this crime.
We have broad experience in criminal proceedings, offering our professional services as defender, plaintiff as well as being facilitators of alternative methods for conflict resolution.
In the area of family, children and adolescents, our personnel are qualified in subjects such as settlement of economic schemes for marriage, divorce, judicial and/or administrative recognition, custody and visit regulations, alimony, suspension of parental authority, guardianship, adoptions and protection of children and adolescents.
